HOLIDAY TIME. WE ARE OFF TO BALI

Hello dear friends, hope you are all well.

If you read my last post, you might recall that I was getting ready to celebrate my husband’s big birthday bash.  You can read all about it here

I am happy to report that dinner at OnCore was as superb as we anticipated.  Everything about this place from the moment we stepped into the lift that whisked us to the 26 floor within 5 seconds, to the greeting of the staff as we stepped out of the lift to the vase full of gorgeous flowers gracing the leather bound tables; the stunning presentation and sublime taste of every dish of the degustation menu;  the swift and soundless service from the staff all dressed in beautifully cut suits was absolutely perfect.  We couldn't ask for more.  What a perfect way to celebrate a milestone birthday.

So now we are on the last part of the celebration – a trip to Bali.   It has been a while since our last visit to the Island of Gods and we are really looking forward to visit it again.  It so cold in Sydney at the moment that I can't wait to be somewhere warm and balmy.

Until then so long, everybody

IT IS HOLIDAY TIME!!!

Hello dear friends.  Hope you are all ok.

I am happy to say that my husband and I are taking a trip up to Queensland where we are planning to visit Great Barrier Reef, eat a lot of fresh seafood and tropical fruits, get suntanned using bucket-load of sunblock and just have a great time😎.

Apparently, it is going to be quite hot up there but after bad Sydney weather, it should be a welcome change🌞.

Will tell you all about it after our return.

Bye for now

IT IS HOLIDAY TIME

Dear All,

Just letting you know that I am dropping out of the blogosphere for a while.  It is holiday time, again, but this time is not going to be that long, only a couple of weeks.

We are off to Bali for a week to shake off the winter blues and get a suntan just in time for our summer.  On our way back to OZ, we are stopping off in Melbourne, primarily to attend a family wedding which is a big affair spread over 3 days of various ceremonies, dinners and lunches.

During this busy time we will try to squeeze in a visit to the National Gallery of Victoria to view an exhibition of Degas’ art and somehow find the time to have dinner at the acclaimed Om Nom restaurant at the Adelphi Hotel known as the world’s only “dessert-themedrestaurant.  Apparently their desserts are out of this world and I simply have to taste at least one.

And then, who knows what else might occur.

All the details later on the blog and Instagram.

Until then
